Collaborative Coloring at the Library

Study week is coming and we’ve got coloring book fever. Now that I get to use the giant Epson printer at work for all sorts of fun projects, I wondered if I could take coloring to a new level and, instead of just offering printed pages you can color along, offer giant pages you can color collaboratively.

Introducing: Collaborative Coloring!

Starting on Friday, May 6, I’ll be putting these coloring pages and markers out on the 1st and 3rd floor of the library with a note NOT to color on the white board. I think this is going to be a hit.

There are four poster-sized coloring pages total, one on each side of the white boards.

Believe it or not I got three of the designs used for this project on a website called coloring-pages-adults.com, which is a site I would normally discredit as spam or p0rn. But these are legit pages, all free, and all really great. The image of the flowers can from a mommy blog called whatmommydoes.com (I want everyone to get credit for their work!).

Because these images are all free to use (for non-commercial purposes) I’ve made the PDFs of the large print versions of each poster downloadable. Just click on the image for the PDF you want.

Can’t wait to see how this all turns out!

Now if only I could find some Hello Kitty coloring pages…
